Directions to Swarthmore Science Center

If you are driving...

Once you're on Chester Road (Route 320), turn into College Avenue. Turn right on to Cedar Lane once you see the stone sign "Swarthmore College". Then, turn left on to Elm Drive at the next stop sign. Continue on Elm Drive until you reach Whittier Place, which should be on your left. Enter the campus through Whitter Place, and the parking lot should be one your right once you pass some small houses. The Science Center should be the building closest to you.

If you are taking public transportation...

The nearest train station is Swarthmore SEPTA station. Once you get off the train, there should be an underpass on the far left if you're facing the campus. Walk up the Magill Walk (the broad path lined with tall trees), and straight through Parrish Hall (the building Magill Walk directly leads up to). Keep going straight until you reach a large quad, at which point you should turn to the straight path on the left side of the quad. The Science Center is the building with the large glass window.

Directions to the Event Venue

The event will be hosted on the second floor of the Science Center, in one of CS labs. From the Science Center Cafe (Eldridge Commons), walk through the bridge across from lecture hall 101. There should be a sign with "Computer Science - 2nd floor" at the entrance of the bridge. Towards the end of the hall, past the big windows, take Stair B (on your left) up to the second floor. And you've arrived!

Currently, the event is only open to Swarthmore students. But if there is enough space for community members who are interested in attending the session, we will open up the event on 11:59pm Wednesday, March 18th if there is space left.
